Hannah Martin has never been afraid of the unexpected. Known for her subversive, sensual jewellery with a fiercely independent spirit, she’s now stepped into new territory—collaborating with the creators of upcoming video game Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 to design a suite of fantasy-led pieces.
Yes, you read that right. A fine jeweller making pieces for a game.
But this isn’t costume or concept work — it’s a fully realised jewellery collection, designed digitally in Unreal Engine 5, imagined in 18ct gold and black obsidian, and rooted in the character-led storytelling Martin is known for. The line captures the spirit of five of the game’s main characters—Gustave, Lune, Sciel, Maëlle and Verso — with bold silhouettes, rich textures, and a narrative running through every facet.

The digital designs aren’t just in-game assets. They’re symbols of power, identity and transformation — familiar themes for Martin’s collectors. And in a touching gesture, she’s created 33 real-world Verso necklaces in sterling silver, gifted to fans and collaborators who’ve followed the project from its early stages.
The result is a first-of-its-kind crossover between high jewellery and gaming. And it just makes sense. In both worlds, identity is built one detail at a time.

Martin’s collaboration opens up new questions: Could fine jewellery find a place in digital worlds? Could players one day wear custom pieces both virtually and in real life? And what happens when a designer as thoughtful as Hannah Martin brings her full attention to fantasy?
If you ask us, it’s only the beginning.
