From Surgical Tools to Fabergé

Trained in toolmaking and with a natural eye for engineering, Nigel moved from crafting surgical instruments to learning the fine nuances of goldsmithing, eventually working with prestigious maisons including Van Cleef & Arpels and Fabergé. But it’s his decision to stay rooted in the west of Ireland that gives his work its unique energy — natural, considered, and deeply connected to place.

A Family Affair

Nigel is not alone in his practice; his wife, Tracy, plays a central role in the business. A creative partner and driving force behind the brand, Tracy brings both strategic vision and a deep understanding of the craft. Their partnership has helped evolve the studio into an internationally recognised name, while maintaining the intimacy and personal service that defines their approach to jewellery-making.

His pieces — often rich with vibrant, precision-cut gemstones and fine openwork — have graced red carpets and auction houses, with clients including Julianne Moore, Saoirse Ronan, and Helena Christensen.
